During the relevant seasons, Mat fishes, around his work commitments and local weather conditions. He lands mackerel, hand dived scallop, shellfish and occasional other species, such as cod, pollock. Most fish landed goes on the Specials Menu and is extremely popular. When landing large numbers of mackerel they are also for sale in the village, they are a real treat and you won't find any as fresh in the shops.
